Listen again to BBC Radio Solent's first Weymouth FC fan forum, where an audience of fans get the chance to put questions to key personnel from the club.

Hosted by Johnny Cantor, the panel was made up of owner Mel Bush, manager Jason Tindall and new signing Marcus Browning, who has just joined the club in a dual role as player/coach on a one year contract.

Marcus Browning said: "I've always wanted to go into coaching so this is a great opportunity for me so I grabbed it."

'An excellent season'

New chairman Mel Bush, known to many as a successful music promoter, explained how he's found his experience at the club do far: "Pretty exciting. For years I've always been hiring out stadiums but now I'm actually the owner of one.

"We've had six weeks of catching up to do as everybody knows, and we've made tremendous progress. We're looking at ways we can improve the club both on and off the pitch.

"I'm very confident that Weymouth football club are going to have an excellent season."

Looking ahead to the new season, manager Jason Tindall said, "We're very happy with the quality of players we've bought in, some of them have turned down better offers, financially, but we've pleased to have them here, But if the season started tomorrow, would I be happy, yes I would."
