Antiques Roadshow filming at Coughton Co

Highcliffe Castle will also be playing host to BBC ONE’s popular Sunday evening programme ANTIQUES ROADSHOW when it visits the groundson the same date.

Some of Britain’s leading antiques and fine arts specialists will be on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors, who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection by the experts.

Michael Aspel, who has presented the programme for the past seven years, will be accompanying the Roadshow. "The Antiques Roadshow is literally a national treasure," says Michael. "It’s a detective story, a game show and a history lesson."

So come along to Highcliffe Castle on Thursday, bring your treasured antiques and don’t forget to fill in the BBC Radio Solent questionnaire, and let us know what you’d like to hear on the radio.

Also, BBC Radio Solent reporter Louise Champ, will be broadcasting live into Jon Cuthill’s show.

PLEASE NOTE that the Castle car park will be closed on the day and the public are asked to use the park & ride at Wharncliffe Road cliff top car park.
