Sportaholics

If you think you know your Olympic champions, football legends and cricketing greats, here's your chance to display your sporting knowledge - and help a local sports club - with BBC Radio Solent's new quiz - Sportaholics.
Start the quiz Good luck!

As part of the new-look Saturday sports show presented by Kris Temple on BBC Radio Solent, we want you to represent your pub, club, school, workplace, town or village, in the brand new fun quiz - Sportaholics.

You just need to find a playing partner, with the two of you facing another pair on a Saturday afternoon live on the radio. The aim is to get yourselves onto the leaderboard, and in contention for the star prize.

The overall winners in May 2007 will win a complete playing kit for an amateur sports team of their choice. It includes a full strip plus water bottles, a kitbag and first aid kit - everything a club needs.

You could play for your school football side, your cricket team or even a pub darts team, whatever. The winners will also get a trophy and their side's progress will be followed on BBC Radio Solent throughout the next season.

Players must be based in Dorset, Hampshire or the Isle of Wight and be available on a landline phone between 1 and 2pm on a Saturday afternoon.

Listen to Sportaholics on BBC Radio Solent Sport on 96.1/103.8FM from 1300 BST from 5th August or listen online.
