Making of TARDIS Cam

Sacks of snow - better known as salt!	Adjusting the camera during filming of the desert scene.

Spike sweeps the sand across the set.	Ripples are made using a fan, with antifreeze in the water to break surface tension.

Lighting - several of these large lights are used, making filming very hot work!	Mike's turn with the broom...

Fine adjustments are made to any aspects of the set up that don't look 'right' on camera.	The back of the submarine set - you only paint what's going to be seen on camera!

Checking camera angles	Smoke adds to realism by mimicking atmospheric haze. And it's pretty cool to play with, too!

The stage set-up is surprisingly large.	Fine adjustments to the water tank - which is coloured with blue food colouring.
