Introducing Gary Wright

It's just you then Gary? Yes, just me on my own, I really ought to think of a name for this project though...
What's the thinking behind the track - The Garden? Well funnily enough it was while I was watching a documentary about a train journey that I thought of the rhythm - the rest followed.
Which three words best describe your music? Experimental, Instrumental, Orchestral.
Do you do gigs in the area? I've nothing planned at the moment but I would consider going live if I felt brave enough and I was happy with the sound.
What are your loves and hates? I love open spaces, electronic music and a hassle free life and I hate people who take life too seriously. | Gary with his keyboards |
And if you become famous...? Well up until now my music has been a hobby but if other people enjoyed my music I would be over the moon.
Whose records do you have in your collection...? Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schultz, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Steve Hillage.
What does the future hold? What I would really like to do is compose music for TV or film. I feel inspired sometimes watching something on TV. Finally then the question we ask everyone, what's the best and worst thing about Devon? Best - The fantastic coastline and moors - oh yes and the pubs. Worst - nothing really. *** Click here to download Real Player.
