| | What's the name of the track you want us to listen to? It's called Rock & Roll Man. I produced my first album in 2000. This was the first recording I made towards the second album, "Fruit of Youth". It's about Bob Dylan.
How has the heart condition affected your music making? It gets in the way sometimes. I did Art and Design for three years at Exeter College but because of my heart condition I didn't progress to Uni. I've put the skills to use though to make my CD covers. Art and Music is very much related and really important.
Which three words would you use to describe your music? Fresh, eclectic, progressive. Whatever happens in the future I don't want my music ending up in a musical show!

Whose records are in your collection? I have a wide range of music. I am heavily influenced by Mike Oldfield and Radiohead.
Supergrass, Coldplay, Nirvana, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Badly Drawn Boy, plus I've some classical music too.
If you could have three guests to dinner, past or present, fictional or not, who would you invite? I've thought long and hard about this and you may think my choice a bit strange:
John Peel because he knows what he's talking about. He must have some great stories.
Yoda because I want to see how his table manners are.
Liza Tarbuck because she has a wicked laugh. What do you consider the highs and lows of living in Devon? The highs are; better quality of air and good friends, the lows are low pay and high bills!
And finally is Jono your real name? I'm Jonathan Powell. Jono was given to me by a school teacher when I was 7 or 8 years old. It has stuck with me ever since. I actually prefer it to my real name.
