The band was born in a garage in the sticks and with the help of a thesaurus and a deadline The Idle Lovers were named.

How would you describe your music in just three words?
Quirky, curvy and compelling.

You've chosen to demo a track called "Rusting Chassis"... what's it all about?
It's about a sad a beautiful world. This is probably the mellowest track on the CD. It's about someone who has spent their whole life chasing memories.

If you were throwing a dinner party who would you invite and why?
Jack Kerouac, Robert Capa (war photographer) and Tori Amos. People who are not afraid to stick their heads above the firing line. Talented and sexy.

What are the highs and lows of living in Devon?
The sea and the ice cream are the highs and second home owners, summer traffic and not being on the bands' tour route are the lows.
