Q: Who are in the band and where do you come from?
A: Keith Elliot from Bovey Tracey on guitar, Andrew Watt from Plympton on Bass, John Kibb from Newton Abbot is vocals and Kate Johnson from Exeter is on drums. The average age is 50.

Q: What's the history of the band?
A: Keith asked John to sing then we advertised for bass and drummer. We've been together since June 06, John and Keith had never been in a band before.

Q: What's the name of the band?
A: Missconception, it was John's idea then modified to have two Ss by Keith.

Q: Which three words best describe your music?
A: Rock, lyrical and groovy.

Q: What's the name of your demo track and the story behind it?
A: It's called Asbo, we've joked about getting an Asbo for playing too loud so we wrote a song about it!

Q: What do you think of the current music scene?
A: It's better than it was 10 years ago but it's still generally unexciting.

Q: What's been your most memorable gig and why?
A: We've only had one gig, we organised it to show friends what we were doing.

Q: What do you have in your record collection and who's been an influence to you?
A: Ritchie Blackmore is Keith's favourite guitarist, mostly we have 70s and 80s rock.

A: We will all be very old!

Q: Where in Devon are you based?
A: Keith is based in Heathfield outside Newton Abbot, it's a nice place to live but a bit out on a limb.

Q: In your own words, sell yourself.
A: We are original, have a powerful sound and can really make it rock.
