You may think that Derby style is as far from Sex and the City as possible but you'd be wrong.

With a tweak here and a tweak there Derby Uni's class of 2003 have just put the finishing touches to their graduate collection. After three years of hard work the students exhibited their work on the catwalk in an end of year showcase.

Gorgeous models stalked and shimmied up the catwalk to the sounds of White Stripes, Nina Simone and Norah Jones adding life to the remarkable creations of over 20 young designers.

With eye catching themes and inspiration tailored from Hollywood glamour, sexy Latino style and films like The Borrowers and Braveheart the show and collection is nothing if not exciting and stimulating, pure candy for the eye.

Designer: Emma Jennings

Emma Jennings based her designs on Japanese street wear (look out for her in the gallery) she told us how excited she was at actually seeing the clothes on the models; "This is the first time I've seen it all together, it's amazing to see the clothes with the accessories and the hair and make-up."
