Finished a little bit faster than last year, my 8yr old son still beat me though! Anyway, great event, weather was superb, what more could we ask for.

Thanks to everyone , thats runners spectators, marshals , all officials, Derby County for the use of the stadium and particularly Kay Smith and Sporting futures, who brought this event to the city.
GMP Mickleover

Very well organised event thoroughly enjoyed it, will be back next year. High praise must go to the marshalls who were all unsung heroes, all encouraging and smiling which helped a great deal.
Mark Pickering, Shelton Striders

paul manning, ripley running club

Good event well organised considering so many runners however paths were narrow especially for 2 way traffic and KM markers seemed to be missing? Great to finish in the stadium!!

Oh dear, very sorry to see my picture made it on to the site. But anyway enough of the moaning, i'd just like to say a big thanks to all the runners and spectators who encouraged me along the route, without it I wouldn't have done half as well. By the way, for anyone wondering, I was the one in the bright pink breast cancer campaign vest, lol, yes I was the one whose legs just wouldn't carry on at times. I'd also like to thank the gym staff staff at David Lloyd's, a huge help to me throughout everything. They started me running and they've ben there whenever I needed some advice. Thanks. Finally, well done everyone for finishing it, now the next step is next years race, hopefully i'll do better (and not catch a cold before hand) and hopefully i'll see you all next year.
Rob, Pinxton

This years event better run with the chip system! But let down on crossing each other on the coarse very poor! In general good allround run improve the coarse layout for next Year! Thank you derbyshire and all marshalls! Gordy smith
