Community Champion nominations have now closedSupported by Derby County and the Derbyshire Building Society these new awards seek to recognise people who do more than most to help neighbours and communities across Derbyshire. Do you know someone who is an unsung hero? Perhaps they do voluntary work in their community, are a very good neighbour or go the extra mile to help others. We want to hear about them and recognise the things they do. We will be featuring the best stories on-air, online, in print and giving out awards to the outstanding nominees. There are nine separate categories of awards, covering a wide range of endeavour – from good neighbours, to people who show great kindness to animals, the unsung heroes who support local sport and volunteers who involve themselves in community affairs - your nominee will be entered into the most appropriate category: - Children in the Community
- Courage
- Extra Mile
