Ashbourne Shrovetide Football

This is where you get to help report events at the annual Ashbourne Shrovetide football game.

Each year, scores of people watch the games 'through the lens' and take photographs and video of the event.

Are you one of them?

If so, maybe you'd like to share some of your photos with us.

Perhaps you've captured a flavour of Shrovetide football. Maybe you have pictures of a ball being scored at either Sturston or Clifton.

Perhaps you simply have Shrovetide photos you're proud of.

And it's easy to do, too. Simply e-mail your pictures to us at: derby@bbc.co.uk and be sure to include:

• Your name
• The area you live in
• A little about the picture and the people in it... and
• Where and when the picture was taken. Your photos can be from any year - but please be sure to tell us which one.

Please send your photos to us using a popular format, eg jpeg or gif. We can accept many formats of video - including video from mobile phones. Please contact us by email if you have video to offer.

We will happily credit your work by name - but please note we cannot accept pictures or video for publication on condition of providing a link to a website.
