Community Safety and Legal Affairs Minister Roseanna Cunningham rejected calls to bring forward a review of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012, on 20 March 2014.

Scottish Labour MSP Siobhan McMahon asked if the interim reports on the research conducted by the University of Stirling would be presented, or "better still, if she will commit to repealing this act now as Scottish Labour have done today".

Ms Cunningham responded that the research was "still on-going" until the end of May which analyses a second full football season "that was what was provided for in the legislation and that is precisely what we are doing".

Other issues that were raised during general questions included the payment of the costs of transport to independence events, standards of care at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and farming.
