Presentation of reports
On 7 October 2013, MEPs debated a series of non-legislative reports by parliamentary committees, including reports on:
- Gendercide (by Cypriot Social Democrat MEP Antigoni Papadopoulou on behalf of the Women's Rights Committee)
- The impact of corruption on human rights in non-EU countries (by Portuguese Socialist MEP Ana Gomes on behalf of the Foreign Affairs Committee)
- The effects of budgetary constraints on regional and local authorities (by Italian Christian Democrat MEP Erminia Mazzoni on behalf of the Regional Affairs Committee)
- Forward policy planning (by British Conservative MEP James Elles on behalf of the Budgets Committee)
- Improving private international law (by Austrian Social Democrat MEP Evelyn Regner on behalf of the Legal Affairs Committee)
- An EU fisheries strategy for the Pacific region (by Spanish Christian Democrat MEP Carmen Fraga Estevez on behalf of the Fisheries Committee)
- Fisheries restrictions and jurisdictional waters in the Mediterranean and Black Sea (by Greek EFD MEP Nikolaos Salavrakos)
The reports were formally adopted during the daily voting session on 8 October 2013.
