David Gregory-Kumar
David covers science, environment and rural affairs for the BBC in the West Midlands. He grew up in rural Hertfordshire before going to university to study physics with philosophy. Eventually after gaining his PhD in physics he joined the BBC as the Radio 5 Live science specialist. He lives in Birmingham with his husband and their three daughters where they travel pretty much everywhere using his trusty cargo bike. Technically his patch also includes The Archers’ county of Borsetshire which makes him very happy.
