Future perfect continuous

Na staveništi:

Interviewer: Well, it is a fantastic building. How tall is it?

Builder 1: 32 floors.

Builder 2: 32 floors at the moment. But there’s more to come.

Interviewer: And how long have you been working on it?

Builder 1: Well, by the end of next month I’ll have been working here for exactly two years.

Builder 2: Yeah, he’s a new boy. I was here at the start so by the time it’s finished, I’ll have been doing this job for nearly three years.

Interviewer: Will you be sorry to move on to your next job?

Builder 2: Nuh. Tell the truth I’ve never like this building, have you Frank?

Builder 1: Nuh, not really.

Jeden z dělníků pracujících na stavbě mrakodrapu říká, že koncem příštího týdne tam bude pracovat přesně dva roky: By the end of next month I’ll have been working here for exactly two years.

Druhý tam pracuje ještě déle: By the time it’s finished, I’ll have been doing this job for nearly three years. V době dokončení to budou skoro tři roky.

I’ll have been doing - tento slovesný čas se nazývá: the future perfect continuous - předbudoucí průběhový a tvoříme ho pomocí will a činným slovesem končícím na -ing: will have been working.

Předbudoucí průběhový čas se používá v případech, kdy nějaká akce probíhá k určitému datu.

Heads: I see the clouds that move across the sky / I see the wind that moves the clouds away / It moves the clouds over the building / I pick the building that I want to live in
