WOMAN: And how long does it last? ASSISTANT: Around ninety minutes. WOMAN: So it finishes at about 3.45? ASSISTANT: Yeah, I guess. Na nádraží: What time does the train leave? - V kolik hodin odjíží vlak. Na letišti: What time does the gate open? - V kolik se otvírá vstup do letadla? V kině: What time does the film start? - V kolik hodin začíná film? a How long does it last? - Jak dlouho trvá?. Ve všech těchto otázkách se jednalo o budoucnost, ale ve všech byl použit přítomný čas prostý - present simple. Kromě opakované činnosti a obecně platných pravd se přítomný čas prostý také používá v situacích, kdy se jedná o jízdní řád, programy, časové rozpisy a plány. |
