We should think of education in the widest possible sense, from pre-school years to post-graduate study.

Na vzdělávací proces bychom měli nahlížet v tom nejširším slova smyslu - od předškolních let až po postgraduální studium. Nervozita před začátkem kurzu a oslava po zkoušce. Období před průmyslovým rozvojem - preindustriální a poválečná expanze.

Předpona pre- znamená před a předpona post- naopak: po. Další příklady: preview, prejudging, post-romantic.

Rada: Pozor ne vždy se předpona pre- vyslovuje /pri:/ Most words beginning with ‘pre’ are pronounced /pri:/ ‘preview’, ‘pre-school’ ‘prejudge’ but watch out for one or two which are pronounced /pre/, such as ‘premature’ and ‘preposition’.
