Children who misbehave in public often do so because they are bored or because they are not getting enough attention.

People in democracies need good information in order to vote for the candidate they really want: if they are misinformed, the system does not work properly.

Děti na veřejnosti zlobí z nudy. Nesprávně, mylně informovat. Některé podniky jsou tak špatně řízeny, že přicházejí o peníze.

Sloveso s předponou mis- vyjadřuje, že akce je prováděna nesprávně či špatně. Další příklady: mispronounce, misunderstand, misjudge (nesprávně vyslovit, nesprávně pochopit - neporozumět, mýlit se v úsudku)

Místo rady ujištění: předpona mis- je jednoznačná, téměř vždy znamená to samé: Nearly every word in the dictionary beginning with mis has the meaning of something going wrong.
