Clair found it difficult being a teenage mum and thinks there isn't enough provision for teenage mums in the area.
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | im pregnant at 16, im still at school but am prepared to do anything to give my baby a good life. i want a home of my own an money i cant live on my muma money. my baby is due on 2nd july an im sccared i wont be able to afford things for it write back do u no on any benifits jamie
For my money there are questions that need an answer, like, who is supporting her and her illigitimate offspring?. Is it her parents or the State?. Who pays her rent I wonder, the State again? There is no mention of the father of the child, does he make a contribution toward the childs upbringing?; I bet not. Has it ever dawned on this girl to get a proper job? Even if she has to bag groceries at the local supermarket, at least she would not be dependant on state hand outs as so many in the UK seem to be these days. She has a grand scheme to set up an ante-natal service for teenage mothers. How very fine, but to do this you have to have a place to open up in, and that requires capital for rent, equipment etc. By the way, does this girl have any qualifications, educationally or otherwise I wonder. I think that this person needs to get down to some serious thought about her own, and her childs future, instead of all this "pie in the sky" ante-natal business. Get a job girl, do it nine to five or whatever, join the rat race, pay taxes, get out and pound the pavement before you end up as a lifelong pensioner of the Welfare State. Thank you BBC.
