Title: No Surrender
Reverend Alan Billings hasn't changed his stance on the war - he still believes it is the right thing to do but obviously finds the loss of life extremely distressing. He hasn't been impressed with the anti-war campaign, believing that now their argument has been unpersuasive and that now they should rethink their moral position.
Alan is vicar of St George’s Church in Kendal and has been for the past 7 years. He’s also director of the Centre of Ethics and Religion at the University of Lancaster.
