The small ramp at Castle Farm that will be replaced by a new skate park | | Get ready to impress those sheep! The decision is finally in and Kenilworth’s new skate park will be built at Castle Farm. But how soon? |

It's been a five-month wait, but at last there's a new skate park on the way for skaters, roller bladers and BMXers in Kenilworth.
Warwick District Council took a long time to decide between three shortlisted sites and have finally gone for Castle Farm.

The council has had to consider a lot of points from residents and skaters in making the decision.
I think some of the plus points they will have liked are that it's next to the recreation centre and that it already has a small ramp.
I also love the fact that it'll be one of the only skate parks in the country next to horses and sheep!
When can you skate there? | |

The Kenilworth Skateboarders Action Group has raised over £3,000 so far to go towards the park and they're itching to get the building underway.
But, as ever, there's likely to be another delay.
The council now needs to decide on the EXACT location, would you believe?
They have narrowed the options down to four locations.
The council then need to work out a design for the park and sort out the money it needs.
There is expected they'll hold a meeting to let skaters have their say on the design and we'll let you know when and where that's going to be.
