The students, Helen Cropper, Llinos Griffiths, Lisa Roberts and Felicity Williams, are active Millennium Volunteers and became involved in the project to generate awareness about the environment.
The result is a collaboration between the students and Spon End Forum's Wakes Steering Group.
The aim of the project was to engage residents in exploring and valuing their environment, using art as a medium.
They focussed on what is good, bad and ugly about the localality and tried to develop ideas of how to make it better.

Members of the Grapevine Centre and the Family Centre in Spon End then took a series of photographs, with children also involved in workshops and compiling the exhibits.
The result is an intriguing story of how they view their urban environment.
The project was funded by a National Lottery Awards for All grant, which was awarded to Spon End Forum to conduct environmental arts activities and was supported by area co-ordination north west.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly will be in Gallery One at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry, 10-19 May.
