August 2009 sees Thom Kirkpatrick – This Beautiful Noise - as BBC Coventry & Warwickshire’s Band of the Month. Although he is a solo artist, band is the correct term to describe him. He is a modern day one-man band, playing multiple instruments at a time. ![]() Martin Winch interviews Thom Kirkpatrick Thom came into the studio for an interview and to perform an acoustic song for BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Introducing. The interview with Martin Winch included the infamous beanie hat bingo. However, as there was only Thom to play, four of his instruments became players in the game. Synth, cymbal, guitar and the drum battled it out to become the champion, but there could only be one winner. Take a look at the behind the scenes video to find out which instrument won and to see Thom’s live performance in the studio.
