Q: What has your career involved so far?

A: Since getting my degree in 2000 I have (in no particular order) … sorted parcels for a courier firm, worked in a complaints dept. in a BT call centre , made parts for cars in a factory, made sauces for frozen chicken dinners in a chicken factory, planted shrubs at a garden centre, data inputting insurance details , worked in several pubs and bars, and carried high street market research. I’ve also worked at various local radio stations across the midlands as a broadcast journalist.

Q: What does your job involve?

A: Reading, writing and preparing news bulletins, chasing breaking news, coming up with story ideas, lining up guests for programmes, bringing in stories that I’ve found

A: The staff, location and listeners

A: Coombe Abbey

A: My girlfriend

A: Golf, football, going to the gym

Q: Give us a fascinating fact about yourself:

A: I went to school with the musician Pete Doherty. He used to leave his bike in my back garden… I think I was the first person to ever interview him after his band The Briefcase performed at Nicholas Chamberlaine 6th Form.
