The deal will see them release their material for the label which was previously home to the likes of Elvis Costello, Ian Dury and the Blockheads, Madness and The Beat. The Enemy will release The Double A side Dancing All Night / 40 Days And 40 Nights in the autumn, and support The Paddingtons on their autumn tour. The single is likely to be a limited edition and will be the first release on the Stiff label for twenty years, so you better do your very best to grab yourself a copy. It's a fantastic achievement for the band, who have been together in their current incarnation for just nine months. Former Band of the MonthIn their short time together The Enemy created quite a buzz, securing themselves a deal with a top London management company and bagging the opening slot on the main stage at the Godiva Festival.
The band were formerly known as Bridges, a band who held the coveted title of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Band of the Month in July 2005. So remember where you saw them first!
