The boys from Nuneaton have only been around for about a year but already they’ve built up a solid local fan-base after a series of gigs in and around the patch. Introducing the band | | The Juliana Down |
The alt-rock four piece are Chris West (vocals/rhythm guitar), Martin Dale (bass/backing vocals), Michael Brown (lead guitar) and James Porter (drums) and it’s sickening to think just how much talent they’ve got because they're all still teenagers. The band was formed while all the members attended St Thomas Moore's school in Nuneaton and although the boys have now gone onto King Edward VI college they still find time to keep their commitments to making music. Good job too - they’ve already received an encouraging review from Kerrang! radio and it's plain easy to know they favoured the band if you’ve heard The Juliana Down live. Their guitar laden tunes glide along effortlessly and Brown obviously has an ear for a decent lick thanks to his Metallica and Iron Maiden influences. | | The Juliana Down |
It seems this band has plenty to offer in the future and with youth on their side we certainly hope they’ll be around for a while. Listen to the band Why not listen yourself. Simply click on the link on the right to listen to the third track on their new studio produced EP - it's called Plain Easy.
