The Colosseum will play host to 42 local acts on Sunday, 6 February as music once again attempts to raise money for those affected by the horrific natural disaster.

We’ve already had a local version of Band Aid after Rob Halligan got together with 19 bands earlier in January to record a version of his self-penned song Stand Together.

Cream of local talent involved

Coventry band Lowdrive
Lowdrive will appear on Stand Together

Many of those involved with the charity single are taking part in this local Live Aid gig including Rob, Spotlight Kid, Resound, Lowdrive and Beneva.

Add to them the likes of Thoria, Four Kings and Jesus Deluxe and you've got one extremely strong line-up

And the evening will finish with a rendition of Stand Together with as many involved with the record on stage.

All three major rooms will be opened for the gig as the cream of Coventry and Warwickshire’s unsigned talent entertain audiences in the Main Room, Left Wing and Globe Bar.

The first acts for the tsunami benefit gig will take to the stage around 5pm at the Primrose Hill Street venue with the last act expected around midnight.

And on top of the 42 acts already lined up, there’ll be DJs too. The line-up at present is on the left.

Standing Together

The recording of Stand Together between Thursday, 6 January to Monday, 10 January was a success and it’s expected to be released on 24 January.

How to get involved

Anyone wanting to get involved with the event or would like to obtain a ticket for the concert in advance can contact the Colosseum at the email address below:

It promises to be an exciting show with so much top talent from across Coventry and Warwickshire. And we'll be there too with our cameras so we may end up snapping a picture or two of you as part of our gallery.
