Every fortnight the Lunchtime phone in on BBC Radio Cornwall will have a 'featured pet'. The programme will follow the animal's progress from the initial appeal, through the home-checks, and then the final stage, being housed with its new owners.

It may be hamsters, cats, or dogs. The RSPCA Animal Centre always has many animals it needs to place in new homes. Laurence hopes that BBC Radio Cornwall listeners will be able to reduce the number of unwanted pets.

Meet Sprocket

Sprocket is a male Lurcher/Greyhound cross. He is two-years-old, neutered and friendly. Sprocket loves people and is good with dogs, cats and children. He doesn't like being left alone. The ideal family is someone who could take Sprocket with them.
