The band's hits include the anthems 'I Predict A Riot' and 'Oh My God'. Read on for all the essential information about the 15 July gig. The seventh year of the Eden Sessions looks set to be a memorable one. After the commercial appeal of Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse last year, Indie music is back on the menu, with The Kaiser Chiefs joining the line up which already includes The Verve. Scottish singer songwriter KT Tunstall was the second act to be announced to play the biomes this summer. Others are due to be announced soon. The Kaiser Chiefs' debut album 'Employment' was released in 2005 and sold more than three million copies. It reached number two in the UK album chart and was short-listed for the Mercury Prize of that year. ![]() 'I Predict a Riot', the second single taken from the album, was voted one of NME's Greatest Indie Anthems Ever chart. In 2006, Kaiser Chiefs swept the BRIT Awards, winning Best British Rock Act, Best British Group and Best British Live Act. At the same year's prestigious Ivor Novello Awards, Employment was given the Best Album award. The record received the same honour at that year's NME Awards. The band's second album 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' hit the shelves in 2007, reached number one in the UK album chart and has remained solidly in the top 100 since its release, selling well over a million copies. The first single from the album, 'Ruby', became their first UK number one single. Kaiser Chiefs, who are currently working on their third album, have cemented their reputation amongst the best live acts in the world with acclaimed festival sets at Glastonbury in 2005 and Reading, Leeds, T In The Park and Oxegen in 2006 as well as Festivals across the globe.
