Nutty has lead a varied and interesting life. A well known and respected fisherman from Cagwith he pioneered the ring netting techniques now used by Cornish fisherman to catch pilchards. ![]() Nutty aboard his boat He had such success with the ring nets that he sank his beloved boat the Penrose due to a football stadium size catch of fish. He later tried his hand at catching sharks but this landed him in hot water with conservationists.
