Marcus Brigstocke

Hater of David Blaine and creator of the best Pacman joke ever, Marcus Brigstocke, after years of just being very, very good, has risen to being pretty famous actually.

Brigstocke is known as a gentle man easily provoked to ire, chiefly by the idiocy he sees around him, particularly by certain people such as Tim Westwood, whose inane pretensions to being 'street' are a particular bugbear, and the aforementioned Blaine, dubbed by Brigstocke the Git Wizard.

Apart from pure standup, immortalized most consistently in his routines on The Now Show, Brigstocke has worked with Danny Robins and Dan Tetsell as Club Seals on We Are History and The Museum of Everything, as well as roles such as blinkered middle class wanderer Giles Wembley-Hogg and management guru Ryan Packer in Think the Unthinkable.

Brigstocke's career has accelerated in recent years, both through sitcoms such as The Savages, and appearances on cultural 'I've arrived' placemarkers Have I Got News For You and Room 101, where he will forever be adored by many for putting that ultimate evil: football, into the Room.
