It's perhaps an exaggeration to say that Kevin Eldon's performed in every funny thing going. But not much of one.
His comedy bedpost notches include Nighty Night (as the long-suffering Terry), I'm Alan Partridge, I Am Not an Animal, Big Train, Jaaaaaam and Brass Eye with Chris Morris, Black Books (as the clean man) Spaced (as the Agent Smith-a-like), the list goes ever on.
Initially he came to comedy through his friendship with Stewart Lee, and became the third unnamed member of Lee and Herring, appearing in Fist of Fun and This Morning with Richard Not Judy.
Kevin's on-stage regrets: "Disembowelled some old folk. Then I shouted that I was glad. In retrospect I went too far."
He recently pretended to be Shakespeare in the Patrick Barlow mockumentary Happy Endings.
