Stephen plays the not-altogether-there ship's navigator, Vine.
He's a member of the popular sketch group the Dutch Elm Conservatoire, formed in part by a previous devised sketch show called Benders. Their second full-length show was one of five shows nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award in 2005.
On telly, he's turned up in My Family, According to Bex, Holby City and Tales From The Black Museum on the Discovery channel. His writing has included Revolver and Velvet Soup for the BBC, as well as his own shows.
You might also see him in a Kellogg's advert and one for Carb Options. He didn't see this as a conflict of interest.
On the wireless, he's contributed regularly to Radio 1's late night comedy programme, The Milk Run. The radio version of the Dutch Elm show 'Conspiracy' was recorded in April 2005.
