Meet Tasha (欧阳倩华 ). She is the lucky winner of the Learning English Radio DJ Competition.

Tasha was one of hundreds of entrants in our competition to find the best English-speaking Radio DJ in China. She managed to beat the other competitors in the competition final held in Guanzhou in November 2005.

She won first prize - a two-week study trip to London.


Tasha has written a detailed and interesting account of her time in London.

April 17th - Day one

After 11 hours of flight, finally I was in London, the city that I’ve dreamed of for so long after winning the DJ competition hosted by BBC last November...

The fresh air instantly cheered me up the moment I got out the airport. Yes, I was no longer in Beijing or Guangzhou anymore, where I can never expect this kind of fresh air...
