In the cast of this year's Strictly, we have a Gladiator, various actors and social media stars, and even a CBBC character! Find out more about this glamorous cast of contestants below.

Who is Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, aka Gladiator Nitro?

Known for his strength, speed and pranks, Harry has been taking on challengers as one of the mighty Gladiators on BBC iPlayer. He also has multiple Olympic Gold medals for Team GB as a sprinter!

Harry has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special in 2024. He scored very highly at the time with his partner Nancy Xu. Could he be one to watch in Strictly 2025?

Who is Dani Dyer?

Dani is a TV personality, broadcaster, author and was revealed to be taking part in Strictly on The One Show. She's created documentaries, done travelogues with her dad, Danny Dyer, gained millions of followers on social media and is even a best selling author. 

Unfortunately, Dani has had to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing 2025 due to an injury. We hope she recovers quickly and will miss her on the live show! 

Who is Alex Kingston?

Alex is an actor with lots of credits to her name on both stage and screen. She starred as the terrifying Lucifer, a frightening figure with a mysterious love of gold, in CBBC's Dodger. She is instantly recognisable to fans of Doctor Who as River Song, the Doctor's wife. She has starred alongside three Doctors, the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth after making her debut as River Song is the delightfully spooky and iconic episode, Silence in the Library.

Who is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink?

Jimmy is best known for some incredible goal-scoring in the Premier League and across Europe, Jimmy played for clubs including Leeds United, Atlético Madrid and Chelsea. He earned a reputation for his power, pace, and precision! ⚽️

Who is Balvinder Sopal?

Balvinder Sopal is a talented actor who has covered everything through theatre, radio, film and television. She is most known for playing Suki Kaur Panesar on EastEnders, where her character has been a part of some serious drama!

Who is George Clarke?

George has built a thriving digital career with millions of followers across various platforms. He also co-hosts a podcast with his friend and fellow social media star, Max Balegde. Fans are drawn to George's authenticity and sharp comedic voice!

Who is La Voix?

A powerhouse of charisma and comedy, La Voix is a multitalented star. She can perform, present and sing, but can she dance? We'll find out in the Strictly ballroom!

Who is Chris Robshaw?

Chris Robshaw is a former England rugby union player and captain. Throughout his career, he has captained the national team 43 times, even leading them to a Six Nations Grand Slam victory in 2016!

Who is Ellie Goldstein? 

Ellie is an actor, model and influencer. She recently had a guest lead role in Malory Towers series 6 where she played Nancy, the Matron's ward. As Nancy, she quickly became friends with the rest of the girls at Malory Towers and helped discover a lost time capsule! We're so excited for Ellie to do CBBC proud in the Strictly ballroom! 🪩

Ellie was also the first model with Down syndrome to be a cover star on British Vogue. She has even launched the first Barbie doll with Down syndrome, too!

Who is Thomas Skinner?

Thomas was in the 2019 series of The Apprentice and became a breakout star of his cast. Since then, he's appeared on many panel and comedy shows plus celebrity challenge shows and has become well known for his unconventional breakfasts on social media!

Who is Vicky Pattison?

Vicky Pattison is a TV presenter, author, podcast and radio host and of course, a Queen of the Jungle who won the nation's heart in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2015.

She has written best-selling novels, starred in celebrity challenge shows such as Masterchef and BBC’s Arctic Challenge for Comic Relief in 2024 and is a passionate campaigner for women's health.

Who is Stefan Dennis?

Stefan is an actor, best known for playing Paul Robinson in Australian soap opera, Neighbours. It is the longest running drama series in Australian television history. Stefan has appeared in over 6,000 episodes during the 40 years that the show was on air!

Who is Ross King?

Ross is ITV's Good Morning Britain and Lorraine's LA Correspondent, covering news from Hollywood and America. He is a four-time News Emmy winner who has hosted more than 30 television series since his first radio broadcast at 15 and television debut at 17!

Who is Karen Carney?

Karen Carney is a former footballer who has 144 caps for England, making her the third most capped player before she retired in 2019. She has championed Women's Football, and can now be heard leading the coverage of top football events such as the Men's Euro in 2024, and the Lionesses' 2022 and 2025 historic Euro wins!

Who is Kristian Nairn?

Kristian Nairn is an internationally renowned actor, DJ and creative force with a career in music and entertainment. He is one of Ireland's top house music DJs and has played alongside legendary artists such as Radio 1's dance party mastermind, Danny Howard.

Unfortunately, Kristian Nairn has had to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing 2025 due to medical reasons. "Thank you all for your support, and I will be back on my feet very soon, in every sense. Love to all, Kristian."

Who is Lewis Cope?

Lewis Cope starred in an episode of CBBC's Victorian era series Hetty Feather, which had its final series in 2020. He played the charming Private Wilfred Sturgis in series 5, episode 1. As well as a role in one of our shows, Lewis is best known as a series regular in Emmerdale, where his character Nicky Milligan has been involved in some explosive storylines!

Who is Amber Davies?

Amber is a Welsh actor, podcaster, TV personality, and West End star. She made her debut on the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing with her dancing partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Alexis, from America, was crowned as 'America's Favourite Dancer', becoming the first female Ballroom and Latin dancer to claim the title.
