Who is Conan Gray?

Conan Gray is an American singer-songwriter and former social media star from California. He has released four studio albums so far, each achieving chart success and breaking into the UK Top 40, with his latest release Wishbone achieving Number 2 in August 2025.

This is Conan's first appearance in the Radio 1 Live Lounge, and we hope he comes back for many more in future after hearing how strong his vocals are!

What is the Radio 1 Live Lounge?

The Live Lounge is very special. It is world famous and popular with the biggest stars in music having featured the icons and legends like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Harry Styles.

It's where stars come to perform their latest songs, favourite hits and special covers from their own favourite artists. The Live Lounge has seen bands and artists cover unusual songs for their genre, such as rock band Biffy Clyro covering Golden by KPop Demon Hunters!
