My DG Series 8, Ep3 - Taz Replies

This is Taz and this is my take on what happened in the DG this week.

What would you have done, if you were me?

Thank you for your comments. Read some of my replies below.

U18011790 comments read - I think it was right to tell someone about Bec's situation. It must be hard for both of you. However maybe you should have just told May-Li first, as I'm sure she would have been able to help Bec without the others having to know her secret yet. You meant well and had good intentions so Bec told you what was happening. When Bec was ready she confided in you, and I'm sure she will do the same with everyone else when she is ready. Taz's reply reads - Hi U18011790 – Ah! I wanted Bec to be happy. I was honestly only trying to help! I know now that I could have done it differently and I will think about it another way in future. Promise, fingers crossed and everything.
U18084418 comments read - I think you were only trying to do the best thing for Bec, but maybe you should have told May-Li first and asked her to not make a big situation of it and got her to talk to Bec quietly. Then the others wouldn't know until Bec was ready. Taz's reply reads - Hi U18084418 – When Bec told me about her mum, I just felt so sorry for her that I rushed ahead without thinking – crash, bang, it's Taz, everyone! It wasn’t my secret to share, I get it - I really do - and I will talk to May-Li or Scott first, if something like this happens again.
U18098906 comments read - I think it is best to tell others around you than be upset and alone when you get it out you feel less stressful! Taz's reply reads - True U18098906 - telling others, sharing your problems – it’s the way to go. Silly me! I tried to do too much on my own and that didn’t help anyone – including me! Stresssssful!
Bookreaderdancer comments read - I think it was good that you were caring, and you had the right intentions, but I would have encouraged Bec to tell the others herself, and for Bec and to tell May-Li too, who would have helped her and understood her, allowing Bec her alone time for remembering, but by telling the others, she could make friends and get some time to take her mind off her mother too. Taz's reply reads - Hi Book reader dancer – I didn’t think about that - I just went for it at 100% Taz! I tried to solve the problem all on my own, which, thinking about it, may not have been the best idea. Duh, I forgot all about helping Bec to solve it for herself. I'll do better next time.
User replies read - Evie - Maybe you should have told May-Li as Bec got too angry. If May-Li knows, she could help Bec more or even have a heart to heart talk. It was not right though telling the others but at least you know what you can do if this happens in the future. lilacchocolatekitten - I would've just asked her to become my friend and we'd talk about it more, and she could tell the others when she's ready. Or at least I would've asked her before telling anyone else. Ravneet - I just would like to say that if I was you I was you I would have done the exact same thing that you would have done but there is no need to tell the whole of the DG . If I was you I would have only told Scott or May-li. No offence.
Taz's replies read - Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all your messages. It's sooooo nice to hear from you all! So many of you got in touch to say that Bec’s secret wasn’t up to me to share. Okay, I know what you mean - now I’ve had time to think about it.... I’ve replied to some of you above and, anyways, I appreciate all of you helping me learn how to be a better friend. Byeeee!
