The D-Day Story
The D-Day Story is the only UK museum dedicated to telling the story of the momentous events on 6th June 1944. Step onboard LCT 7074, the last surviving Landing Craft Tank that took part in the Normandy landings, explore the personal stories behind the objects in the museum's collection and marvel at the impressive 83 metre Overlord Embroidery, with its 34 hand stitched panels by embroiderers at the Royal School of Needlework.

Stunning imagery, audio-visual presentations, authentic vehicles, trails, hands-on interactives, and the family audio guide all help to bring the story of D-Day to life.
