The Cheerleading troop based at Peterborough United Football Club, have agreed to cheer for the Saxons at their home games on the Stanground Field. “All of the Saxons are delighted to have a cheerleading troop of the standard of the Allstars onside with us.” Andy Coleman went on to say, “and we want to encourage everyone in Peterborough to come out and enjoy the spectacle of American Football, and the skill of extremely talented Cheerleaders – we’re really looking forward to having them there with us in 2005”. | "...this is a wonderful opportunity for the girls in the All-stars, and we hope we can make the Saxons proud." | | Elly Crawt, from The Posh Allstars |
Elly Crawt, of the Posh Allstars said “We spotted the Saxons in a newspaper article, and they had been in touch with us previously from the Cheerleading UK website – this is a wonderful opportunity for the girls in the All-stars, and we hope we can make the Saxons proud.” The Saxons/Allstars debut will be from 2.00pm the 27th February at Stanground College, where the Saxons run out to their first pre-season game against the Kent Exiles. The Saxons will welcome anyone with an interest in American Football to come along and watch, to cheer and to soak up a little piece of America! As part of the Saxons ongoing recruitment campaign, The Saxon Gathering, they are actively looking for Sideline staff, Chain Crew, Youth Team Players, Senior Team Players and Supporters.
