About BBC Britain in Pictures
This group is inspired by three new BBC TV series featuring Britain's buildings past, present and future - 'How We Built Britain' on BBC One, 'Britain in Pictures' on BBC Four and 'Building Britain' on regional channels. Join the group and share your photos of Britain's buildings. The BBC proposes to display photos from this group on the BBC website, the BBC's interactive TV service, on BBC big screens in public places, on BBC buses around the country and in the National Media Museum. These are all public service activities and events connected with the new BBC programmes. If you want to know more please check out the faqs.

Before sharing any photos or discussions with this BBC Britain in Pictures group on Flickr, make sure you have read the terms below which grant the BBC permission to use your photos.
By sharing any photos with this BBC Britain in Pictures group on Flickr you agree to grant free of charge to the BBC, for public service purposes only, permission to use the photos as proposed above, including the ability to modify (for operational reasons) and sub-licence this right (for public service purposes only), in accordance with the privacy restrictions set out in the BBC's Privacy Policy.
Where we use your photos on bbc.co.uk we will attribute and link back to your Flickr stream (except on interactive television, big screens and at the National Media Museum where linking back is not possible). We will, however, endeavour to publish your name alongside your photo. Please note that the chosen photos may be used for some time by the BBC in relation to the proposed uses set out above.
Copyright in your photos will remain with you and this permission is non-exclusive to the BBC so you can continue to use them in any way you choose including the ability to allow others to use them.
When sharing any photos with this BBC group on Flickr the BBC asks that you ensure that they are you own original works, that you have the right to make them available to the BBC for all the purposes specified above, including the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution, are not defamatory and do not infringe any UK laws.
To the extent that there is a conflict with these terms and Flickr's terms of use, the above terms will only apply to the BBC's use of your photos for the purposes set out above.
