Ashley, 16, is a member of the Empire Boxing Gym in St Agnes, Bristol. After training hard for months he talks about stepping into the ring for the first time and being understandably nervous.
Ashley joined the gym because his younger brother who was already a member was loving the sport and enjoying lots of success in his fights.
A demanding training regime which included 10-mile-runs and work-outs under the tuition of a former member of the SAS got Ash into top condition before his fight.
And with fantastic support from his dad, mum and two younger brothers he was prepared mentally.
Finally it was time to see if all the hard work had paid off.
