We ended last weeks run in celebratory mode at a modest watering hole that we discovered earlier this year. To be fair we only do this once in a blue moon, but I have to tell you that The Sweens was in a parlous state the next day! Still, he's young and resilient and it wasn't long before he was up and scoring eight goals in a five a side match.

We've been really pleased to get your reviews of shows and films that you've been to see, so please keep them coming how ever brief they may be. It's your show so if there's anything that you think we should be doing that we're not then tell us.

Oh, and Alan the wine merchant, I hope your happy that the blog is now up to date!

Little extra bit from Sweens:

I was overjoyed earlier this week when I got to interview a couple of idols of mine, in the shape of Simon Fowler and Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene (pictured). I saw them live at the Colston Hall a couple of years ago and thought they were brilliant, however when I put this to them neither of them could remember the gig! I think that means they had a good time. They're back at the Bristol Academy in December, so if you can make it I might see you there!
