The Richard Lewis Show is a corner of the broadcasting world where real life in all its strange and glorious madness prevails.

The biggest names in showbiz pop in for a chat too. Only on Richard's show could you hear Brian Blessed discussing nail polish, Noel Edmonds talking hairdos and Richard E Grant revealing which Hollywood stars are short.

People come up, drop off a tasty morsel of information or tell a story - often so wildly implausible that you know it can only be true - sip their water and troll off, only to be replaced by someone else with another story.

And then there are musical oddities and bizarre bits of trivia to add into the mix – something to lead us down another trail.

With celebrity guests, local characters and of course great music to take you through the afternoon.

A long-time network television producer and scriptwriter Richard now spends his mornings writing for television and films – and his afternoons behind the microphone.

Richard is on-air every weekday between 2pm and 5pm.
