Austin MitchellA shock for anyone who thought the parliamentary constituency of Great Grimsby was a rock-solid Labour stronghold.

The wife of veteran Labour MP Austin Mitchell has admitted he "may not win" at the forthcoming general election.

Linda McDougall was speaking to Peter Levy on BBC Radio Humberside, following Mr Mitchell's admission that he overclaimed by more than £10,000 for a mortgage as part of his parliamentary expenses.
