I'm the BBC's media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what's going on.
Sports bodies have attacked Ofcom's pay-TV ruling to order Sky to cut its wholesale prices for its sports channels according to the Telegraph.
Ofcom has today proposed large cuts in the price of mobile phone calls, going further than had been predicted. Ofcom have published the consultation.
The BBC's "reward director" has apologised after trying to hide the number of senior managers who earn over £100,000 a year reports the Times. The Culture Committee chairman John Whittingdale said the attempt was "absolutely outrageous".
The date has inspired a flight of fancy in the Daily Mail.
....and the Guardian concocts a new advertising campaign for Labour.
A Press Gazette survey has found that BBC News is the best-trusted source, and Andrew Marr the best-known political reporter.
Gordon Brown's speech on immigration generates widespread comment from the newspapers - much of it critical, the BBC newspaper review reports.
