Good news indeed
A hernia can be very painful
A complete irrelevance of course, but I seem to recall overhearing once that attempting to carry a suitcase stuffed full of money around the house attic could result in a hernia. Which would be no laughing matter...
I am pleased that the NHS is not judgemental. Even a person who sought fraudulently to evade paying their share got treated. It is his human right after all.
So what does Ken Dodd have to say about his human obligations? If he had the talent of Tony Hancock, I might be interested to know.
I can confirm that hernias can be painful. I've had 2, but not of the strangulated variety.
