Gone out, back soon

No, I'm not shutting up shop, but this is my last post for a while as I'm taking a summer break and will be back in September with more stories, pictures and photographic discussion.

I've got a number of plans that include taking this blog on the road, undertaking a picture-a-day challenge and a couple of series looking at a range of photographs from the archive.

I will of course continue to feature your pictures, and while I'm away my colleague Emma will be looking after the weekly picture galleries of your work, so do continue to send in your photos: the list of subjects we are after is listed here.
