As mentioned on the podcast, the excellent Jamillah Knowles is going to be in charge of Pods and Blogs as I concentrate on iPM, though I'll still chip in the occasional blog post and piece of audio. Please do keep sending in ideas for items to feature in the podcast.

• A row in Europe after a EU Parliament based press officer was warned about a blog post revealing some confidential information. The reprimanded blogger Gawain Towler of UKIP and Jon Worth of Euroblog found that this was one issue they could agree on


• The inventor of the Smiley graced us with his presence


• And Jamillah talked to the writer of a rather good song about microblogging
