What is your fantasy cabinet?
The outcome of the UK's post-election coalition talks will determine the make-up of the British cabinet - but who would you like to see in the most important political roles?
As politicians work towards achieving their ideal compromise with their ideal people in the top roles, what attributes and individuals would you like to see them consider?
If a decisive nature is important in a prime minister does Lord Sugar's business success qualify him as a contender? Would David Beckham's international football career and global fan base make him a good foreign secretary? Does Dame Judi Dench's strong portrayal as 'M' mean she has the makings of a home secretary who can tackle difficult issues?
Who do you want to see running the UK? What political portfolio would best suit which individual? Tell us who would be in your fantasy cabinet?

David Cameron for Prime Minister. He is the leader of the largest parliamentary party, after all.
Caroline Lucas and Zac Goldsmith at DECC, to lead the war on climate change: they know their stuff, and they'll get things done.
Ed Balls, Vince Cable and Ken Clarke at the Treasury, to put the country's economy on a sound footing, and to bring the budget deficit under control while protecting jobs and the weakest in society.
Alan Duncan and Simon Hughes at the Home Office, to restore civil liberties, and return power from the State to the people.

Each minister has been given an expenses account. The total value of your initial cabinet's expense account must not exceed two duck houses, a microwave oven, four rocking chairs and 72 paper doyleys. You are free to choose as many 'mortgage-flipping' ministers as you wish.
Formations:
From a 20 minister-list you must select 15 to form your cabinet. Ministers can only work in their designated party's given role. For example, you cannot insert a Liberal Democrat as Prime Minister.
Prime Ministers:
You must nominate a member of your cabinet to be Prime Minister. This minister will score double the number of points he would usually have been awarded if he halves the budget deficit, cuts Trident and introduces porportional representation.
If your Prime Minister does not play by the above rules then he will be automatically substituted. A new Prime Minister with the highest form of integrity and most public support will then be selected based on your emergency Prime Minister strategy. You'll automatically win the game if you can find one.
Important:
Make sure your previous Prime Minister has vacated Number 10 before continuing the game. Otherwise he could invoke Squatter's Rights and that would mean game over for everyone.

Mainwaring is prudish and repressed, and can be judgemental about people who do not share his moral outlook. Mainwaring's patriotism can lead to xenophobia (he is not keen on the French, the Russians, the Americans and the Germans). All in all, perfectly qualified personal traits to be PM of Britain
Chancelor of the Exchequer = Either Tommy Cooper or Ken Dodd.
Could do with a bit of Tommy Cooper "just like that" accounting. There'd be not a single penny of waste as he was also acknowledged as the tightest man in show business, with a pathological dread of reaching into his pocket.

Stereotypical working class British nationalist with a dislike for anything "un-British", particular dislike of Germans and the French. "The point is this..." "if we had no rules where would we be? Disregarding his attrocities and nasty inhuman obnoxious policys, but solely because he followed and complied with Churchills speech to a T and never surrendered-

Minister For Agriculture, Food and Fisheries = Worzel Gummidge
Just because he couldnt do any worse for Britains farmers, food production and fishing fleets than any other previous minister.

I would also have it that for each problem they want to solve they each put forward a solution and the public voting for their favorite. Obviously all must do as the public vote.
Maggie thatcher as foreign secretary because she was a fantastic negotiator with a reputation for making the right friends (US) and not backing down in negotiations (EU).
I would remove libs from any interaction from the MOD but would place them in charge of community relations.

Average £4 per voter and around 200k per seat, I believe which party will join hands is not only matter of votes anymore but more so about who is backed by whom.
According to data from Electoral Commission UK, Conservatives raised 54% of the overall funding amounting to £71m. Labour got over £39m (29%) and LibDem were able to raise 11% at £14.5m. Conservatives spent highest £7 per vote and average £232k per seat.
If LibDem join hands with Labour for the new cabinet, Tories will most likely call in general elections sooner than expected and will probably see more funding coming their way after the current success. Will Nick want to take that chance ? Probably not.
If LibDem supported Tories, most likely Brown will stand down from the leadership of Labour party and though a general election might be called again, it may probably see Tories win in majority, since Clegg alone cannot pull it off and Labour may not want to change their leader 3 times in 2 years.
My ideal cabinet will be, if all three parties form a joint government and take the best parts from each of the other parties agenda. The way they are now trying to coax each other to join their party, will be rather good to see if they sat down and decide what is best for our country rather than what is best for their party.
Maybe change the electoral system completely differently and let all the three leaders take turns every two years to lead the country or sit down at a table and take ownership of one particular area closer to their heart ?
The new cabinet should not be defined only by the people who are famous, it should be more driven by the policies that everyone agree are better for UK economy. There is enough money for everyone and all it needs is just one push, a life time opportunity is here for all the three parties to make history.

I really think Ken Clarke is the right guy for the job:
- he has experience, having already held the post of Chancellor in previous administrations. You don't want someone new and fresh in that position - considering what is at stake, and with a very good track record in that position.

Dont get me wrong It's time for Brown to go but please not ED Balls. In terms of the ideal cabinet I Would like a selection from each party as there is good and bad in each. Lord Mandelson is just rude and to be honest is just out for himself. I'm glad we have a hung parliment as the three parties. So much more so Labour needed to be told that you can onkly upset the british people for so long and they will turn on you. Clegg talks of a clean politics, but now in the last week of his campaign he just slagged the other 2 parties and never really answered any querstions directly when asked by votors. He really is just like Cameron and Brown. It's all change for GB and I'm so glad. Now all we need if for the Scottish MP's not to be allowed to vote on Englands laws as they seem to like it when we keep our nose out of Scottish affairs but wants to have a handle in Westminister. Look at Alex Salmond SNP wont do deals with labour and toires. Now look, He is offering another way to the Lib , Tories solution. It's time to hold MP's and Leaders accountable for lying during the election race and having them trufed out for the lies told. expenses cleaned up, out for themselves, still a very long way off in deed.
